East Asia Forum is hiring a Korea Desk Editor

The Australian National University (ANU) Korea Institute is supporting a new Korea Desk Editor position at East Asia Forum.

East Asia Forum is a publication for analysis and research on issues relevant to public policy centred on the Asia-Pacific region. It consists of an online publication and a quarterly magazine, East Asia Forum Quarterly, which aim to provide clear and original analysis from the leading minds in the region and beyond.

The Korea Desk Editor will:

  • Support the EAF editorial team by generating article ideas on pressing domestic and foreign policy issues in ROK and DPRK.

  • Identify and liaise with relevant authors to write on these issues.

  • Assist with editing and proof-reading EAF articles for publication.

A keen interest in Asian affairs and a reasonable degree of economic literacy is important. Editing experience is preferred. Apply and find out more on the ANU career hub website.
